Konica Minolta ProX 950

The ProX 950 offers professional quality Stereolithography (SLA) 3D printing, considered the gold standard in the 3D printing industry coupled with precision, the largest format printing available and exceptionally high speeds. Furthermore, it is one of the greenest 3D printers available in Australia today, offering new ways of manufacturing plastic parts that are perfect down to the millimetre while forgoing the design limitations imposed by traditional injection moulding and CNC.

The ProX 950 takes advantage of the latest PolyRay™ developed by 3D Systems, a technology that minimises the time it takes to manufacture real parts by 10x times compared to conventional 3D printers. It also provides the broadest choice of high-performance engineered materials which meet the growing demands of the medical device industries, aerospace industry and even a part of various industrial processes.

The flexibility and versatility of the ProX 950 enable it to print precision parts from ones that are smaller than the eye of a needle to ones that are the size of a tiger all without deviating from true CAD accuracy. Choose from several SLA materials, including ones that offer the toughness of ABS to the clarity of polycarbonate. The ProX 950 also enables users to cast patterns utilizing the company’s QuickCast™ technology. 3D Systems’ latest SLA technology allows users to build highly complex parts at a lower cost per unit, ensuring that it continues to remain the ‘Gold Standard’ of the 3D printing industry.

Build Large Single Piece Parts

The ProX 950 enables users to build large parts measuring up to 1500mm in a single piece and with increased strength, without the weaknesses associated with attachment points. A single part build also frees users from having to use additional resources to assemble various segments of the part. The large builds are ideal for building middle consoles, prototype dashboards, or metal casting patterns using QuickCast® technology.

The variety of Accura® SLA resins developed for Stereolithography printers means that users can choose a material that’s best suited to the build resulting in consistency and durability for each application.

An Integrated Software Solution

The ProX 950 SLA provides users with a single point of contact for support and daily use of the company’s SLA technology. The ProX 950 minimises waste and lowers the cost of ownership while raising the efficiency of each 3D build. The use of 3D Systems’ exclusive software for plastic printers helps users optimise their 3D CAD data for a successful build. 3D sprint includes all the tools needed to go from a CAD design to a detailed manufactured part without relying on any other software.

Overview

Production printing has never been easier or more affordable than with a Konica Minolta bizhub PRO 950. This production printer was designed to print, copy, and scan documents at high speeds and is ideal for high volume departmental use, corporate in-plant printing, data centers, pay-for-print – even short-run commercial print applications. It features a high speed print/copy output of 95 ppm and a robust monthly duty cycle of 750,000 impressions. The bizhub PRO 950 production printer is Energy Star rated and produces 80,000 impressions per toner bottle.
